Forehead lift operation takes about 60 minutes under general anaesthesia, depending on health conditions and personal requirements of patient. General anestezia is carried out by highly skilled doctor-anaesthesiologist who selects the most suitable technique after examinig your situation. After general anestezia you will need to spend one day in our clinic under careful supervision of personnel. You will also need to present to anaesthesiologist electrocardiogram and blood and urine test results.

Hypostasis and bruises on eyebrows may appear right after forehead lift, and remain up to 10th day after operation. It is necessary to sleep with highly raised head at the first night after operation, To decrease hypostasis, you can put ice on face. Probably, doctor will prescribe you soothing medications to take some time after forehead lift if you feel discomfort.

Bandage and drainages (if those are required) are removed usually in first few days after operation. Also in few days doctor will allow to take a shower and wash a head. You may feel dumbness and prutitus in cuts’ places in the beginning of recovery. For example, you may feel discomfort after operation, or wound may be infected and heal slowly in implant area. In addition you may feel ENDOTIN Forehead under skin, and feel pain touching it.

Much less probably, but still it is possible when skin and hair in implant area would become more thin, and if healing problems persist - there can be scars. If the implant disturbs to you so much that you do not want to wait until it dissolves completely, you can ask doctor to remove it during simple procedure.

Another additional, but really rare risks are connected with the fact that ENDOTIN Forehead is fixed in small holes, drilled in your skull bone, which if made improperly, may lead to a serious trauma. There is a risk of an infection of a bone or implant detachment when ENDOTIN Forehead moves under skin. At last, although ENDOTIN Forehead is biodegradable, there is a probability when dissolving would slow down and you would prefer to remove it surgically, rather than to feel discomfort or other troubles.
